Level 2 BIM Intermediate workshop aimed at people who need practical knowledge and understanding of the whole-life costs of buildings, BIM terminology, technology and principles of BIM Level 2 & 3.
The workshop will cover – ‘Introduction to BIM’, ‘External Drivers for BIM, Planning for Change, BIM Implementation in the business, Risks vs Opportunities’ basic BIM / CAD Software Skills, 3D model-viewing, Employers' Information Requirements (EIR), BIM procurement tools, BIM data exchange and management, BIM reporting technology, BIM for economic regeneration, supply chain collaboration & external data exchange ‘‘The BIM roadmap’ BIM Skills including training options: BIM for the business, the department, the user, the workforce and the technology, your next steps’.
Who should attend:- People whose job role contributes to the management, delivery and co-ordination of capital build and maintenance projects within the built environment including business managers, departmental heads, estates, building and property managers, capital project co-ordinators, asset managers, supply chain category managers, procurement & quantity surveyors
When:- Forthcoming one-day workshops on 4th March, 8th March and 10th March, other dates are available (on request) throughout 2016.
